“I send the fixture schedule at framing and get back a marked-up sheet with stub heights. The tile order went in with the numbers on it.”

What we need
Three things at framing.
The fixture schedule
Models, or the shortlist. We read the rough-in dimensions from each spec sheet.
The tile layout
Starting lines, sizes and bands, so valves and niches fall where the tile wants them.
A date for demolition
We plan rough-in for the day after, and book the inspection when the lines are in.
What you get back
A marked-up sheet, then the lines.
- 01
Stub heights and centers
Valve, head, spout and drain positions, dimensioned from the finished floor.
- 02
Blocking locations
Where wood backing goes, drawn on the framing.
- 03
Photos of the open wall
Before drywall, with the heights readable in the frame.

A named contact
Marlene Woods takes calls from your site on business days.
“They were on site the day the walls opened, and the inspection checklist was ready before the inspector was. My tile setter didn't have to ask about a single valve.”
